I like the appeal of mixed metal jewelry, particularly copper and black or dark gray.
This particular pendant design was inspired by the ferns growing in my garden. I've hand cut and filed pure copper sheeting, applied the image, tiny copper flakes and then added a resin coating and attached a copper bail accented with black onyx beads. The owl pendant hangs from a delicate gunmetal gray (plated brass) chain with spring ring clasp.
MEASUREMENTS: Necklace length is 18" (45.72 cm). Owl pendant has a drop of 1-1/2" (3.81 cm) in width is 1/2" (1.27 cm).
